Vol. 1 No. 1 (2023): Journal of Quantum Technologies and Informatics Research

From the Chief Editor; As KTEAD, we are experiencing the excitement and pride of taking a profound step in the field of quantum technologies and informatics. Today, we are turning a new page in the scientific world: the first issue of the Journal of Quantum Technologies and Informatics Research has been made available to our esteemed readers at 20:23 on October 29, 1923, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey.

At this historic turning point, we are witnessing the dazzling evolution of quantum technologies. The foundations of the Quantum Technology Revolution are based on two significant properties of quantum physics, namely Superposition and Entanglement. Quantum information science has been shaped by revolutionary experimental studies. So much so, these groundbreaking researches were deemed worthy of the Nobel Prizes in Physics in 2022 and 2023.

As KTEAD, our aim is to encourage and publish interdisciplinary research that will make a noise in the national and international arena in this rapidly growing and shaping field. During the preparation process of our first issue, we overcame the challenges encountered with the intense efforts of our valuable researchers in their respective fields and our Journal Designer İlknur Herseksari. There may be shortcomings that escape attention; however, science is nourished by mistakes, grows with criticism, and advances with collaboration. In this context, all kinds of feedback will be valuable for the future of our journal.

At the beginning of this journey, we express our gratitude to the scientists who have shared their research with us and have taken on the burden. We also thank everyone who has not withheld their faith and support during this process. KTEAD, in the light of science, is determined to carry this sacred trust into the future in the 100th year of the Republic of Turkey.
