JQTAIR (Journal of Quantum Technologies and Informatics Research)

Purpose: JQTAIR aims to support, pioneer, and contribute to the global recognition of scientific advancements in quantum technologies, informatics, and related multidisciplinary fields. The journal is designed to foster collaboration among researchers, academics, industry professionals, and students, facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience, and provide an interdisciplinary platform.

Scope: JQTAIR encompasses a broad and diverse range of areas such as quantum physics, informatics technologies, applied mathematics, information technologies, and cloud technologies. Not only does it include both theoretical and experimental studies, but it also addresses topics like technology transfer, policy and ethics, education, and societal impact. Innovative ideas, concepts, methods, and applications, as well as critical reviews of existing research, case studies, and industry applications, are covered. The journal aims to bridge the gap between industry and academia.

FROM THE EDITOR

We are proud to present the second issue of the "Journal of Quantum Technologies and Informatics Research", published on February 29, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the field of quantum technologies and informatics research. With contributions from some of the brightest minds in our field, this issue covers a wide range of topics from cyber security to the creation of automatic unit tests, from quantum computing applications to artificial intelligence and machine learning, reflecting research that pushes the boundaries of science.

Cengiz Çalıkoğlu's article, "The Importance of Collective Cyber Security and the Organization of Turkic States", highlights the future potential of quantum cyber security technologies and provides an in-depth analysis of how our cyber security strategies need to evolve. This work offers a comprehensive perspective on the future of cyber security, showcasing the significance of quantum technologies in this field. Sevdanur Genç's study, "Development of an Opcode Parsing Approach for Automatic Unit Test Creation", and Osman Semi Ceylan's article on "Implementation of Quantum Fourier Transform in Higher Dimensions Using Cirq", demonstrate how technological innovations can be transformed into practical applications. Ayetullah Ercelve and Emin U Ulugergerli's work, "Learning Machines and Facies Discrimination; Initial Results", presents a new paradigm in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Our expanded perspective on quantum technologies and cyber security aims for this issue to provide valuable insights into how cyber security protocols and network infrastructure need to be redesigned in the face of quantum threats. Topics such as the advent of quantum internet and the importance of post-quantum cryptography represent a fundamental transformation in cyber security practices. These advancements will continue to have significant impacts, both scientifically and technologically, as well as socially and economically.

The meticulous work and innovative ideas of our authors are leading to significant progress in the field of quantum technologies and informatics research.
