Scope

The scope of publication includes, but is not limited to:

• Visual Arts (painting, sculpture, photography, design, digital art)
• Performing Arts (theater, dance, performance studies)
• Literature and Cultural Studies (literary criticism, comparative studies, translation studies)
• Music and Musicology
• New Media and Creative Industries

Publication Frequency

J. Arts has transitioned to a continuous publication flow starting with Volume 8 in 2025. Articles will be assigned to the relevant issue as they are accepted. Once an article is accepted, it will be published online without waiting for the entire journal issue to be completed. Depending on the increase in the number of submitted articles, the publication frequency may be increased to twice a year in the future.

Archiving
Digital preservation is ensured through LOCKSS and PKP systems.
