Today's radical and rapid change in the traditional business and leadership concepts of transformation can not be seen as the possibility to explain. The traditional leadership style of today's pace, the market and the respondents to respond to the expectations of the status quo almost transformed the transformations of the organizations have put into chaos.
The aim of the study is to determine the interactional leadership in the chemical industry of Kocaeli Region (according to ITO) and their effects on the organization. The application of the study was done by adding the multi-faceted leadership questionnaire (MLQ), organizational commitment questions to the senior and middle level managers in the public and private sector in Kocaeli. The questionnaire was applied to 127 senior and middle level managers in four public and seven private sector chemical companies. In the research, quantitative research methodology was used and data analysis, correlation, regression analysis were tried to be interpreted in a comparative manner to each sector
