Hope is a feature which promotes a sense of well-being and activates the person In this study it was researched whether to measure hope using Continuous Hope Scale. The research has been applied to social media users. It is tried to determine whether social media users consider hope multi-dimensionally or not. Without finding out any dimension, there can be no reference to a multi-dimensional structure of hope. Otherwise, the existence of a multi-dimensional structure will be taken as granted. If hope is multi-dimensional, the following question will be raised: Do the hope-related dimensions of social media users, who have been using social media for different periods (less than 1 year, 1-3 years, 3-5 years, 5-10 years, and more than 10 years) differ? The survey will be carried out using snowball sampling, a nonprobability sampling technique. The data will be analyzed implementing the factor analysis and the discriminant analysis. As a result of research, it has been determined that social media users have two dimensions related to hope: Purposefulness (Agency) and Purposeful Thought (Pathway). Also it has been determined that between user with social media for less than 3 years and those spend more than 10 years has differently perceived agency having dimension of hope.
