Articles submitted to the journal will be reviewed by the editorial board, and terms may be changed if necessary. Basic writing rules are provided below. Additionally, a writing template has been prepared as a Word document. Styles used in the Word writing template are written in square brackets in the relevant fields.

Page Property:

  • Paper size: A4 Portrait
  • Top margin: 2 cm
  • Bottom margin: 2 cm
  • Left margin: 1.5 cm
  • Right margin: 1.5 cm

Main Title of Paper:

  • Turkish Main Title of Paper: Calibri 20 point, bold, centered, 24-point space above the first line. No extra space between lines for titles that are two lines. A 6-point space will be left after the Turkish title. [Main Title of Paper]
  • English Main Title of Paper: Calibri 20 point, gray, centered, no space above the first line. No extra space between lines for titles that are two lines. A 20-point space will be left after the English title. [English Main Title of Paper]
  • The first letters of the Main Title will be uppercase, the others will be lowercase.

Author Information:

  • Only up to 3 author information will be included in one line. For single-authored articles, the author's name will be centered; for two-authored papers, the author's name will be column-centered.
    • Author names: Calibri 10 point, normal, centered. [Author Name]
    • Author Institution/Organization name: Calibri 10 point, italic, centered. [Institution]
    • Author Department name: Calibri 10 point, italic, centered. [Institution]
    • Author City and Country name: Calibri 10 point, italic, centered. [Institution]
    • Author E-mail: Calibri 10 point, normal, centered. [E-mail]
    • Author ORCID No: Calibri 10 point, normal, centered. [ORCID]

The next section will be written in two columns. The column widths will be equal, and the space between them will be 5 mm.

Title of Summary [Summary Title]:

  • Calibri 12 point, bold, left-aligned, navy blue, the bottom space will be 6 points. [Summary Title]

Summary:

  • Calibri 10 point, italic, justified. The Turkish summary will be prepared as one paragraph and consist of a maximum of 1000 characters. Formulas, special characters, and symbols should not be used in the summary. [Summary]

Keywords [Keywords]:

  • Below the summary, Calibri 10 points, italic. The keywords will be bold and italic. Example: Keywords: Data mining, Data, [Keywords]

Abstract [Abstract Title]:

  • Calibri 10 point, italic, justified. The English abstract will be prepared as one paragraph and consist of a maximum of 1000 characters. Formulas, special characters, and symbols should not be used in English. [Abstract]

Headings:

  • Main Title: Calibri 12 point, bold, left-aligned and hanging, navy blue, the bottom space will be 6 points. [Main Title]
  • Title: Calibri 11 point, bold, left-aligned and hanging, navy blue, the bottom space will be 6 points. [Title]
  • Subtitle: Calibri 10 point, bold, left-aligned and hanging, navy blue, the bottom space will be 6 points. [Subtitle]
  • Other headings: Calibri 10 point, bold and italic, left-aligned and hanging, black, the bottom space will be 6 points. [Italic Title]

Article Body:

  • The article body will be prepared in two columns. The column widths will be equal. The space between the columns will be 5 mm.
  • Calibri 10 point, normal, justified, and black, the bottom space will be 6 points. [Normal]

Figure Caption:

  • Below the figure and centered. Calibri 9 point. The "Figure and figure number" text will be bold. [Figure]
  • Example: Figure-1: Figure description

Table Caption:

  • Above the table and centered. Calibri 9 point bold. Table text will be bold.
  • Example: Table-1: Table description

References:

  • Reference number and source 9 P Times New Roman, first the author's last name, then the first letter of the name. The publication name will be written in italic. Then the place and date of publication will be written.
  • Example: [1] Schaffer, R. L., Mulekar, M., McClave, J. T. Probability and Statistics for Engineers, 2010, pp. 170-172.

General Rules:

  • Abbreviations: Abbreviations to be made within the article should be made the first time they are encountered. E.g., Intelligent Vehicle Systems (IVS). Abbreviations known to the public can be used directly. E.g., ITU
  • References: The number of the reference cited in the text must be given in square brackets at the end of the sentence. For example, relevant conclusions have been reached in the study conducted by E. Adalı et al. [1]. Reference numbers within the article should be sequential. The references will be created at the end of the article.
  • Formulas: A number should be given for the formulas used within the article. The number of the formula should be given on the right in brackets. For example: Y = ax2 + bx + c (1)
  • Exponents and indices: Exponents and indices should be written as they are written in mathematical formulas. For example, x2, xi
  • Units: Only the SI (MKSA) unit system should be used in the article. However, in compulsory situations, units other than these can be used as a second unit. Abbreviations for units to be used must be international SI abbreviations. For example, Kilo: K, Meter: m, Second: s, Current: A (Please do not use the abbreviation "sn" for a second)
  • Footnotes/Header: Footnotes and headers will not be used in the article.
  • Figure/Picture: Figures and pictures should be placed in the nearest area after being cited in the article. The Figure/Picture number must be given sequentially. There should be no figure or picture in the article that is not cited. "Figure" should be written instead of "Fig."
  • Table: Tables should be placed in the nearest area after being cited in the article. The table number must be given sequentially. There should be no table in the article that is not cited. "Table" should be written instead of "Table."
  • Page Number: The article should be written on only one side of the page. Pages must be numbered sequentially at the bottom of the page.

Note: In this journal, the English abstract should be written before the summary. In articles where English is not used, a Turkish summary and abstract should be prepared. If a title in a language other than Turkish is used in the article, the English summary and abstract should be prepared as well. If another language summary and abstract will be used, it will be written after the English summary and abstract. If there are two abstracts and summaries in the article, their titles will be written in two different languages. If there are more than two summaries and abstracts in the article, the titles will be written in the relevant languages.
