Abstract

A critical analysis based on feminist and critical theories and manipulation of mind.
Manipulation mind, says Schiller, is a tool of conquest, a tool which enables the elits to mold the
population...
One must not forget, in todays World, the mass media “into which entire sociaty has a mean
to Access” attacks to our hopes of liberation and the last front left in defending those hope of
liberation: Our dreams and our ability to dream.
Again in todays World ones who own the mass media also own the power of the media.
Resarch and practikal marketing information shows that a significant portion of owner ship of such
media belongs to USA companies and instutions. From this perspective isn’t it fair to say that they
orient our inspirations thus our lives that are led by these inspirations. Or isnt’t it fair to ask if USA
oriented tv shows concure our inspirations and deprive us of the opportunity to produce our uniq
indipendent values and standards of judgements. Or do they manupulate us towards to a designed
/artificially constacted “beautiful” and determine our inclanations and perceptions? In todays Turkey
a Turkish citizen
-who is known to spend 6 to 8 hours watching tv daily- is trying to thrive in to which beauty
and which inspiration... İs it towards a “beauty” which is a production of trans-nation media
instutions as a commodity merchandise or is it the beauty of their own personel dreams and
inspirations? Who defines beauty, how and for how long?
