Author Guidelines

Bibliographic Standards

  1. Citation Format:

    • In-text citation: Use numbered references in square brackets at the end of the sentence, e.g., "Results were observed in similar studies [1]."

    • Reference List: At the end of the document, list references in numerical order. Each entry should include:

      • Author(s): Last name followed by initials.
      • Title: Italicized.
      • Publisher: Include location if available.
      • Year: Publication year.
      • Page Range (if applicable): Use "pp." before page numbers.

      Example:

      csharp
      [1] Schaffer, R. L., Mulekar, M., Mcclave, J. T., *Probability and Statistics for Engineers*, ABC Press, 2010, pp. 170-172.
  2. Abbreviations:

    • Define abbreviations at first use (e.g., Artificial Intelligence (AI)), and use them consistently thereafter. Common abbreviations (e.g., "USA") need not be defined.
  3. Figures and Tables:

    • Number figures and tables sequentially as they appear.
    • Figures: Centered below with caption in 9 pt Calibri bold. Include "Figure" and number, e.g., “Figure 1: Graph Title.”
    • Tables: Centered above with title in 9 pt Calibri bold. Include “Table” and number, e.g., “Table 1: Data Summary.”
  4. Units:

    • Use SI units exclusively, with rare exceptions for comparative units.
  5. Formulae:

    • Number equations consecutively, aligning numbers in parentheses to the right side, e.g., "(1)".

Formatting Guidelines

  1. Font and Size:

    • Main Body: Calibri, 10 pt, double-column layout with a 5 mm gap between columns.
    • Headers and Subheaders:
      • Level 1 headers: Bold, 10 pt, Calibri, navy color.
      • Level 2 and 3 headers: Italicized as needed, maintaining consistent spacing.
  2. Abstract and Keywords:

    • Abstract: Limit to 1,000 characters. Avoid formulas, symbols, or special characters.
    • Keywords: Up to 5 terms, separated by commas, such as "Data mining, Artificial Intelligence."
