Prunus spinosa L. and Rubus sanctus Schreb. are species which belong to Rosaceae family, naturally occurring in Turkey. In this research, it was determined that leaves extracts of P. spinosa L. and R sanctus Schreb. which prepared with different solvents, stimulated the defense system of the grossum and longum varieties of Capsicum annuum L. at different levels within the scope of total protein amount and peroxidase activity according to the control group. In conclusion, it was shown that P. spinosa and R. sanctus species could be used as natural plant activators.
