Forging is the processing of a body-compatible dyestuff with patterns such as needles and the like on the underside of the skin so that it does not come out of the skin. Therefore, tattoos are called body signs. The sign is older than the letter and is an emblem and identity in old societies. Tattoos are the symbol of dignity, slavery, tribe and even the region where you live and live. The tattoo of the ancient motif, known as the belief of the religious motif, has become the art of ornamental, fashion, nowadays.
Forging has been one of the oldest methods of expressing itself symbolically from the pre-writing period. However, the tattoo is basically an application that is applied to the human body and is limited to the organic duration of the human body. Therefore, there are great difficulties in following the traces of tattoo based on historical evidence.
With this study, tattoo samples used in some parts of Aksaray region, stages of construction, materials used are researched, tattoo samples found are photographed and the purpose of sharing information is obtained.
