A RESEARCH ABOUT THE AWARENESS OF THE EDUCATION FACULTY STUDENTS ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE UNIVERSITY EDUCATION BY USING THE DEMOGRAPHIC VARIABLES CASESTUDY: AKSARAY UNIVERSITY EDUCATION FACULTY
Abstract
Aim of this study was to investigate the awareness of the quality of the undergraduate education of the
education faculty students, demographic variables of the students were also used. A questionnaire was
prepared to measure the awareness of the students about the undergraduate education quality. Sex,
birth place, age, why these students choose Aksaray University, education level of the father and
mother of the students, accommodation of the students were asked in this questionnaire.
Undergraduate education programs must be configured according to the expectations of the students.
Awareness about the total quality criteria must be increased, information must be given about the total
quality. Configuration of the education programs in order to increase the profession education quality,
improvement of the technical and the physical capacity of the faculty buildings, improvement of the
quality of the trainers are the targets of the total quality studies about the undergraduate education.
Quality guaranty, quality loop process, quality model indicators are analyzed during the total quality
studies.
Descriptive scanning model was used in this study. As a result of this study; programs of the education
faculties must be updated according to the national profession standards, students must be educated
according to the labor force and the education faculties must be accredited.
