Children's rights include an important target mass in the community structure. Children are valued in a system that has absolute health and active abilities for life order and social welfare. In this respect, it is necessary to consider the mass of children carefully. Media and child interaction should be included in a regular system. For this reason, the media 's impressions and ethics regarding the child should be considered. There are similar examples of children's rights in the mainstream media in Turkey. It has also been discussed in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Therefore; a privileged task is undertaken to develop social awareness on children's rights. The press is gradually moving away from this mission. When children are represented in the media, it is observed that due to the news value and sensational characteristics of news, desensitization and social responsibilities are not fulfilled for "children's rights". In this study, the news of four different journalists in the Turkish national press are examined and their news is compared in terms of sensitivities to children's rights. In this study, the high circulation Cyprus, Cyprus Post, Havadis, New Order and Star Cypriot newspapers in the Turkish press in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus were observed and examined on children's rights. In this study, the Cyprus Newspaper was the result of being the newspaper with the main problems of child rights issues in the foreground.
