Article Title

The first title should be written in the language of the article, and the other title should be written in the other language (Turkish if the mother tongue is English). Article titles should be 14 pt and centered. The first heading should be written in bold, the other heading in bold and italic. All letters except the first word in the title should be written in lower case. Before the title of the first article, a space of 10 nk should be left, after which 3 pt. "Times New Roman" font should be used in all titles. Letters that are not found in the Latin alphabet, such as alpha, beta, delta, should be used with their clear pronunciation.

 

Author(s) names and affiliates

Only the first letters of the names of the authors should be capitalized, and the surnames should be written in capital letters. Author names and surnames should be centered and italicized. A 10 pt space should be left after the names of the authors. The address information of the authors should be given in the specified order, with each different address on one line. The e-mail addresses of the authors should be given under each address information. If there is more than one author with the same address information, e-mails should be given in the order in the article.

 

Abstract

The first summary is given in the mother tongue of the study and then the summary is written in the other language. In this section, a brief summary should be given, emphasizing the methods used in the study, the innovations of the study, and showing the main findings. The abstract text should be justified and should be 10 points. The abstract should contain approximately 100-250 words. For health sciences, English keywords should be selected from Medical Search Heading (MesH), Turkish keywords should be selected from Turkey Science Terms. References, figures, table numbers and footnotes should not be used in the abstract. Letters that are not found in the Latin alphabet, such as alpha, beta, delta, should be used with their clear pronunciation. Abbreviations cannot be used as keywords, instead they should be written in their clear form.

Keywords: The number of keywords should be between 3 and 6. Words should be separated by commas.

 

Introduction

All studies submitted for publication to Istanbul Arel University Graduate Education Institute Journal of Management of Organisations should have an "Introduction" section and the section number should be 1. This section summarizes the purpose of the study, the novelty in the literature and the findings. All articles submitted to the journal should be prepared using MS-Word® 2007 and higher versions.

 

Page Layout

Article pages should be prepared in A4 (210 x 297 mm) paper size. A margin of 20 mm from the left and right edges, 30 mm from the upper edge, and 25 mm from the lower edge should be left. The abbreviations used in the article are given in parentheses after the long spelling at the first use, and only the abbreviated form can be used in subsequent uses. Letters not found in the Latin alphabet should be used with their clear pronunciation.


Chapter titles, All chapter titles should be in bold and 10 font size, only the first letter of the first word of the words in the title should be capitalized, and all letters of the other words should be written in lowercase. Second, third and fourth level subheadings should be left aligned in the same format as the main headings. No more subheadings than the fourth level should be used.

Font, for the main text, plain and justified, 10 point "Times New Roman" font should be used. The spacing (spaces) before and after the main text and headings should be 4 pt and the line spacing should be "Single". Italic or bold fonts can also be used in situations that require emphasis.



Equations, each of the equations should be written on a separate line and numbered. Equations should be given in a 1x2 size table with hidden borders. The width of the first cell should be 90% and the width of the second cell should be 10%. The formula in the first cell should be centered, and the equation number in the second cell should be right aligned. The left and right margins of the cells should be reset. The equation editor included with MS-Word® 2007 and higher must be used to write equations.


Figures and Images, all figures should be centered relative to the page. Any extra spaces (if any) around the shape should be trimmed. The captions of the figures should be written below each figure (see Figure 1). Figures in the article must be at least 300 dpi resolution. Shapes should not appear blurry. The text in the figure (if any) should be clearly legible and its size should not exceed the size of the text in the text. For figures that have been cited or rearranged, the source must be indicated with the reference number in square brackets [] after the explanation of the figure.

 

References and references in the text should be numbered in square brackets “[]”. The reference list should be given at the end of the article in the order in which it is included in the article. If more than one publication is to be cited in the text, “,” meaning “and” and/or “-” meaning “all publications between” should be used. For example, the text [1],[2],[5] refers to publications 1, 2, and 5. The text [3]-[9] refers to all publications between 3 and 9, including 3 and 9.



References section in articles is also a numbered section and should be arranged as given at the bottom. From the sources given below [1],[2] articles published in peer-reviewed journals, [3] books, [4] chapters in books, [5] papers presented at symposiums / congresses / conferences, [6] theses, [7] reports/standards, [ 8] encyclopedias, [9] dictionaries, [10] court decisions, [11] movies or videos, [12] website, [13] newspaper reference examples.



The results
are given as numbers and this is the section where advanced evaluations are made based on the findings of the study. Authors may also mention other future studies and issues related to their work.

 

Acknowledgments are given in this section (if any) of the institution, project, person, etc. information is specified.

If Ethics Committee Approval and Conflict of Interest Statement is required for original studies, the following information regarding ethics committee approval should be noted.

 

 

According to article 8 of TR Index Journal Evaluation Criteria;

* Ethics committee approval must be obtained for research conducted in all disciplines that require ethical committee approval, this approval must be stated in the article and the relevant documents must be uploaded to the journal system.

* In studies that require ethics committee approval, information about the consent form (name of the committee, date and number) should be included in the method section, and in case reports, information about signing the informed consent/consent form should be included in the article.

Note: In research that does not require ethical committee approval but requires legal/special permission, in the absence of a 'Method' section, the processes carried out for the ethical aspect of the research should be specified by opening the 'Ethical Aspect of Research' heading before the 'Resources' section.

* Studies that require ethics committee approval for research articles are presented below:

Studies Requiring Ethics Committee Permission:

- Any kind of research carried out with qualitative or quantitative approaches that requires data collection from the participants by using survey, interview, focus group work, observation, experiment, interview techniques,

- The use of humans and animals (including material/data) for experimental or other scientific purposes,

- Clinical studies on humans,

- Research on animals,

-Retrospective studies in accordance with the personal data protection law

 

* Important Information Regarding Ethics Committee Permission:

-Indicating that the "Informed Consent Form" was taken in case reports, obtaining permission from the owners for the use of scales, questionnaires, photographs belonging to others, and stating this in the article,

-Indicating that copyright regulations are complied with for the intellectual and artistic works used,

- Retrospective ethics committee approval is not required for articles produced from master's/doctorate studies (must be specified in the article), whose research data were used before 2020. However, the processes carried out in terms of the ethical aspect of the research (informed consent, permissions, etc.) should be specified in the article.

-Researchers who are not members of the university can also apply to the Ethics Committees in their regions.

-If the study requires the use of human and animal subjects, international declaration, guide, etc. should be declared appropriate.

For original works, it should be stated whether there is a conflict of interest with any author, institution or organization.
