Abstract

As is known, the history and the theory of each object are indivisible. If we want to form   more complete picture of  modern  children's literature and direct it’s future development, we must  consider  its past  first of all.

At the end of the XIX -  beginning  of XX century, in  most difficult period of literature and culture Russian and Azerbaijani revolutionary democrats wanted to give a right direction to the development of children's literature.  Official ideology considered that activity of  the new human, new citizen  upbringing, the direction of child literature  shoud be aimed on the new civilian education and   children’s  literature should be based on the socialist realism's creative method, acting as a branch of proletarian literature. As it is seen from the purpose and the  aims of children's literature, this literary world develops in various directions, e.g. pedagogy, psychology, ethics, aesthetics, art, medicine and accurate sciences. Everyone has a unique place in the overall development of the new generation.
