The problem of developing the vocabulary of the Azerbaijani literary language occupies an important place in modern linguistics and is related to the problem
of creating new words of words of different origins. Recently, the issue of integration of borrowed lexicon in linguistics in the Azerbaijani language is of special interest. In this case, special attention is paid to words from the English dictionary, as English plays a donor role not only for the Azerbaijani language, but also for a number of languages around the world. The formation of Anglo-Azerbaijani hybrids in modern times is one of the most unusual and complex word-formation processes, in which new words are distinguished not
only for humorous purposes, novelty, unpredictability, harmony, but also for high informativeness of expression. The word hybrid is of Greek origin and means crossed, mixed. It should be noted that formation of a hybrid word in terms of the combination of two words with the same meaning, hybrid words create the phenomenon of lexical pleonasm. For example, in Turkish mythology, shaggy dog is one of the mythological figures; the condition of the first stage was set from the very beginning: “Dumb silent” (S. Azeri. “Forbidden game”); “Thank you, my legs,” I said, (I am a tall boy) (I. Afandiyev. “Valeh’s tale with a Sarikoynek”); Clouds line in the sky, Go beautiful, have a happy trip. My eyes are full of tears. Go beautiful, have a happy trip. (A.Padarlı, “Let it be”); Should we really tolerate the insults of a single or couple of youngsters and failed “human rights activist” who have not yet recognized or found themselves, or perhaps lost themselves in Europe’s “extreme freedom”? (“Agenda”, A.Nuriyev). The scale of the transition of words from one language to another also depends on the nature of intra-language relations: in the case of internal and external contacts, the cause of these processes is usually different. In the first case, “cultural” borrowings predominate, while a whole range of other motives begin to function in the internal contact. The emergence of the majority of borrowed root morphemes is due to their involvement in the process of word formation in a bilingual environment. In a language that accepts new words, a series of newly formed words appear which consist of a borrowed root and a special suffix. Thus,in the Azerbaijani language, several ideas are put forward in relation to hybrid words: 1) as a combination or parallel use of two words with the same meaning; 2) hybrid words used in the double word model; 3) by adding suffixes belonging to different languages to hybrid words; 4) in the form of abbreviations of both words. Hybrid words are universally available in all languages. The vocabulary of languages that interact with each other in the economic, political and cultural life of a society is subject.
