Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- Text Consistency and Writing Rules: The article file has been prepared in accordance with all writing, formatting, and bibliographic rules specified in the Author Guidelines. Sources used in the text are referenced completely and accurately, and the reference list is formatted according to international standards (APA 7, Chicago, etc., depending on the journal's preference). Tables, figures, graphs, and appendices are numbered correctly within the text and accompanied by explanations.

Author Information: The full names, academic titles, institutional affiliations, ORCID ID numbers, and contact details (phone number, email address, postal address) of all authors included in the study will be entered into the system. The author order has been determined by mutual agreement among all authors, and there are no conflicts of interest.
Individuals who did not contribute to the study have not been included in the author list. - Copyright and Publication Rights: By submitting the article to the journal, the author(s) undertake to prepare and upload the Copyright Transfer and Publication Agreement with a wet signature to the system. This agreement explicitly states that the article has not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

For Studies Requiring Ethics Committee Approval: For all studies for which data was collected in 2020 (surveys, interviews, focus groups, experiments, observations, animal experiments, clinical research, etc.), the Ethics Committee Approval Certificate (including the date, number, and name of the approving committee) has been uploaded to the system as an ‘Additional File’. This information is also stated in the ‘Methods’ section of the article and on the last page of the article.
For Studies Not Requiring Ethics Committee Approval: (Reviews, theoretical studies, studies using data collected before 2020, publicly available data sets, etc.) it is clearly stated in the ‘Methods’ section of the article or in a footnote that the study does not require ethics committee approval. - Preparation for Blind Review: The article has been prepared in accordance with the double-blind review process. Information such as the author(s)' name, institution, acknowledgments, and biography has been removed from the main text file. The blinded file has also been uploaded to the system.

The full text file contains the following sections: 1) Turkish title, abstract, and keywords, 2) English title, abstract, and keywords, 3) JEL Codes, 4) Introduction, methods, findings, discussion, and conclusions sections
The text has been prepared in an original manner in accordance with scientific ethical rules. - Additional Files (if any): The data sets, analysis codes, or additional materials used in the study have been uploaded in the appropriate formats, and the necessary explanations for access have been provided. The images do not contain any copyright infringement, and the necessary permissions have been obtained for each material used.
Research Articles
This section accepts original research studies conducted on topics within the scope of Holistic Economics.
Submitted articles must not have been previously published elsewhere or submitted for publication elsewhere. Research Articles should be based on a solid theoretical framework, rigorous scientific methodology, analyzed findings, and original results/discussions that contribute innovatively to the field.
All submissions to this section will undergo a double-blind peer review process following an initial evaluation by the editorial board. Manuscripts should not exceed 8,000 words, excluding the abstract and references.
Review Article
This section accepts review articles that synthesize, analyze, and evaluate the existing literature in fields covered by Holistic Economics from a critical perspective.
Review articles should comprehensively present the current state of a specific topic, theoretical approaches, methodological discussions, and future research directions. Going beyond a simple literature summary, they are expected to contribute a unique perspective to the field and provide an analytical contribution to the existing body of knowledge.
All submissions to this section will undergo a double-blind peer review process following preliminary evaluation by the editorial board. Manuscripts should not exceed 10,000 words, excluding the abstract and references.
Book Reviews
This section accepts book reviews that provide a critical analysis of books related to Holistic Economics published in recent years (generally within the last 2-3 years).
Reviews should go beyond summarizing the book's content; they should evaluate the book's importance in the field, its strengths and weaknesses, its target audience, and its contribution to the literature. Reviews are accepted only upon invitation by the editors or if the author has previously contacted the editor.
Articles in this section are not subject to peer review, but editor approval is required for publication. Reviews should preferably not exceed 1,500 words.
