The idioms and reiteratives that have richness and power of Turkish language are the phrases that are used in our first written documents. In studies on idioms, some researchers; it also considers the reiteratives as idioms. However, while the idioms have gained meaning in change by exceeding the true meaning dimension as the phrase, while the reiteratives are the phrases which are used for reinforcement in the meaning of real meaning. Therefore, it is not a correct approach to consider all reiteratives as idioms alone. However, some reiteratives can be used in idioms. This should not mean that reiteratives alone can be considered as idioms. The ıssue of this study, he assumption is that the reiteratives cannot be a idiom alone, but are used in some idioms.
