Abstract

Ceramicists have produced ceramics in their direction of their own personal characteristics,
worldviews, the conditions of life they live in, traditions and customs. For what purpose and how they
should be used in determining their shapes and decorations of these ceramics have been influential.
In this study; the puzzle ceramic drinking container which are very varied both in terms of their
production stage and the applications of decorations, and also the forms that mystifications, the
games, the humour and the understandings of the masters have also been reached to the user have
been dealt.
From the end of the 13th century it is seen that they were produced in many other European countries,
especially Germany, Holland, Italy, France.These containers, intended for jokes and fun for drinkers,
are handled in the play and puzzle catagories. In these cups, the puzzle is to learn the secret of
