Open Access Policy
Health Sciences Quarterly (Health Sci. Q.) provides immediate open access to all published content, supporting the global exchange of scientific knowledge. By removing access barriers, the journal ensures that published research is freely and permanently available to readers, while authors benefit from increased visibility, accessibility, and citation potential.
License and Reuse Rights
All articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Under this license, anyone may:
- Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
- Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.
These rights are granted provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source, a link to the license is included, and any changes are clearly indicated. The journal encourages responsible reuse of published materials with transparent attribution.

Article Submission Fee and Publication Charges
Health Sciences Quarterly charges a one-time article submission fee of 150 USD after preliminary editorial suitability assessment. Apart from this submission fee, the journal does not charge any Article Processing Charge (APC), acceptance fee, publication fee, page fee, colour fee, production fee, archiving fee, or post-acceptance fee.
Payment of the submission fee does not guarantee acceptance, does not guarantee external peer review, does not expedite the review process, and does not influence editorial or peer-review decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on academic merit, originality, methodological quality, ethical compliance, reviewer reports, and relevance to the journal’s aims and scope.

Archiving and Long-Term Preservation
All published content is digitally preserved through long-term digital preservation systems, including LOCKSS and the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), ensuring the accessibility and integrity of the scholarly record over time.
Authors are encouraged to deposit preprints, accepted manuscripts, and final published versions in institutional or disciplinary repositories, provided that the published version is properly cited and linked through its DOI.
Self-Archiving Policy
Authors may freely archive preprint, accepted manuscript, and published versions of their manuscripts on personal websites, institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories, or other open access platforms, provided that the final published version is properly cited and a DOI link to the journal version is included where available.
Open Access Standards and Discoverability
The journal supports the principles of open access, transparent licensing, permanent accessibility, author rights, and responsible reuse of scholarly content. The journal’s metadata and published content are indexed, abstracted, listed, or discoverable through several indexing services, databases, scholarly discovery platforms, and catalogues.
