According to the data obtained from this scale, which reveals the perception of domestic violence, the perceptions of violence of the study group and their sensitivity to violence were found to be very high. With convenience sampling, 510 participants were reached through social media accounts of various women's organizations. On the other hand, as a result of the reliability calculation of the scale, the alpha value was found to be 0.98. It is seen that WVPS explains a very high rate of 83.91% of total variance. As a result of the factor analysis, it was revealed that the scale consists of 5 dimensions: physical, sexual, psychological, verbal and economic violence. By applying the Confirmatory Factor to the scale, the five-dimensional structure obtained by exploratory factor analysis was tested. In addition to the Confirmatory Factor Analysis results, the fit indices obtained with the Exploratory Factor Analysis results were at the desired levels. With this study, it was revealed that the Women's Violence Perception Scale was reliable and valid.
2024-12-21T00:00:00+03:00Copyright (c) 2024 Holistence Publicationshttps://journals.gen.tr/index.php/jos/article/view/2629The role of psychological safety and group cohesiveness in the ımpact of clinical leadership on organizational resilience2024-12-06T00:05:19+03:00Bahriye Terlemezbterlemez@nku.edu.trErsin Kocamanekocaman@nku.edu.trAdnan Baçabac@nku.edu.trMeryem Kürtül Örtlekmeryem.kurtul@hotmail.comAyten Kalanerayten.kalaner0@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze how psychological safety and group commitment affect the relationship between clinical leadership and organizational resilience in the context of physicians and nurses. This study has a descriptive, correlation-seeking quantitative research design that does not examine the relationships between basic variables and the differences between specific groups in the hospital context. The research sample consists of 200 physicians and nurses working in a public hospital. In the study, data were collected using a questionnaire form consisting of five sections: Personal Information Form, Clinical Leadership Scale, Psychological Safety Scale, Group Cohesiveness Scale and Organizational Resilience Scale. The data obtained with the survey technique were analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 package program. Descriptive statistical methods were used in the analysis of the data. Ethics committee and institutional permission were obtained to conduct the study. The participation rates of physicians and nurses in leadership and management training are low. Women have higher scores in organizational resilience. Physicians' perception of psychological safety is higher than that of nurses. Married participants have higher organizational resilience and group cohesion scores. Clinical leadership has significant differences according to age, education level and work experience. Long working hours and night shifts negatively affect psychological safety and group cohesion. Participants without management training have higher scores. There are positive interactions between organizational resilience, psychological safety and group cohesion. The relationship between clinical leadership and these variables is more limited. The research results indicate the need to develop an understanding of the organizational dynamics of hospitals while providing strategies for improving leadership and management in healthcare services to overcome current and future challenges, and to promote resilience and effective collaboration.
2024-12-21T00:00:00+03:00Copyright (c) 2024 Holistence Publicationshttps://journals.gen.tr/index.php/jos/article/view/2633Management strategy approach to economic paradigms for Cyprus Problem solving2024-12-17T14:52:31+03:00Nimet Eryiğitneryigit@hotmail.com
The Cyprus Problem emerged with the double-collective (Turkish-Greek) structure that formed with the Ottoman Empire's taking over the island in 1571, and it is continuing to the present day. Founded in 1960, the Republic of Cyprus couldn’t provide a solution to the problems between the societies and finally after the Cyprus Peace Operation held in 1974 as the Republic of Turkey (T. C.) guarantor, North Cyprus Turkish Republic (TRNC) was established officially in 1983. In 2004, the Republic of Cyprus (TRC) was accepted as a member of the European Union (EU) on behalf of all candidates. EU membership of the TRC hadn’t solved the Cyprus problem, and had become a sensitive issue in Turkey-EU relations. On the other hand, with the discovery of new oil and natural gas resources in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Cyprus Problem has now become a part of the world; energy is an extremely important input, and in the international arena it has strategic priorities for all countries. Both the progress of EU-Turkey relations, as well as the exploration of energy resources in the context of solving the Cyprus problem, countries are encouraged to solve the dispute. This case is established by the reliability of Turkey's strong stance next to TRNC, having the secured investment fields to transfer the newly discovered energy sources. The companies as a management strategy, Turkey's strong support of the TRNC's development will pave the way to make a stable and profitable investment in every field; The Cyprus Problem will be provided together with solutions to the discovery, transmission and processing of energy resources that are on the agenda in the recent period. When considered at the EU-Turkey relations will move in a positive direction so that businesses realize management strategies will be in place in line with.
2024-12-21T00:00:00+03:00Copyright (c) 2024 Holistence Publicationshttps://journals.gen.tr/index.php/jos/article/view/2624The status of emergency health services under CBRN: A systematic review2024-12-05T23:57:28+03:00Yücel Bulutybulut@nku.edu.trAtakan Nazlıgülatakannzlgl@gmail.comGülse Kazan1236506034@nku.edu.trİclal Can1iclalcan65@gmail.comKübra Aycan Demirel1236506042@nku.edu.tr
The aim of this study was determined as to conduct situation analyses of studies examining Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Nuclear (CBRN) and emergency health services in the relevant literature. In this study, the qualitative research method was preferred. In the study, the words emergency health services and CBRN were determined as keywords. A systematic literature review was conducted in the Google Scholar database between January 2020 and September 2024. After removing the studies that did not meet the search criteria, 5 studies were determined as a sample. The studies were examined in terms of abstract, keywords, distribution by years, and research method techniques. According to the research results, the most studies were conducted in 2021 and the studies were conducted on the attitude, self-sufficiency, responsibilities, personal protective equipment use, skill status, awareness level and incident management of pre-hospital workers. The keywords most frequently include the words CBRN and pre-hospital emergency health services. 80% of the studies are quantitative research and 20% are qualitative studies.
2024-12-21T00:00:00+03:00Copyright (c) 2024 Holistence Publications
