Journal of Life Economics (J. Life Econ.) provides immediate open access to all published content, supporting the global exchange of knowledge. By removing access barriers, the journal ensures that research is freely available to readers, while authors benefit from increased visibility and citation potential.

License and Reuse Rights

All articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Under this license, anyone may:

Archiving and Long-Term Preservation

All published content is digitally preserved through LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems, ensuring the long-term protection and accessibility of the scholarly record. Article Submission Fee

Journal of Life Economics charges an article submission fee for manuscripts that pass the editorial pre-screening stage. No additional Article Processing Charges (APC) are applied after acceptance. Details are provided on the Price Policy page.

Self-Archiving Policy

Authors may freely archive preprint, accepted, and published versions of their manuscripts on personal websites, institutional repositories, or other open access platforms, with complete citation and a DOI link to the journal version.
