Archiving & Digital Preservation
Digital Preservation: The journal ensures the long-term accessibility and integrity of its scholarly content through the following preservation strategies:
-
LOCKSS System: The journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
-
PKP Preservation Network (PN): All published content is digitally preserved in the PKP PN, ensuring that the journal's data remains accessible even in the event that the journal ceases publication.
-
Local Archiving: In addition to international preservation networks, the journal maintains high-fidelity backups on its own secure, independent servers to provide immediate redundancy and continuous access.
In addition to these global preservation networks, all published issues of the journal are also deposited with the National Library of the Republic of Türkiye to ensure long-term national accessibility and preservation.
