General Publishing Policies

Holistence Publications Publication Policies

Holistence Publications is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and accessibility. The principles outlined below apply to all journals published by our publishing house, guaranteeing quality and trust to our authors, reviewers, and readers.

1. Mission and Scope of Publication

Holistence Publications promotes the global dissemination of rigorous, peer-reviewed research across various disciplines. Our mission is to support academic excellence, contribute to the advancement of science, and provide a reliable publishing platform for academics.

2. Editorial Independence and Governance

The editorial autonomy of each journal is fundamental. All decisions, such as article selection, conducting the peer review process, and determining the editorial board, are made independently by the editor-in-chief and the editorial board. The publisher does not interfere with the academic evaluation process.

3. Peer Review Process and Integrity

All articles are evaluated by at least two independent experts based on the double-blind peer review principle. This process ensures a fair and objective review in terms of originality, methodological soundness, and scope suitability. The final decision rests with the editor.

4. Commitment to Publication Ethics

Holistence Publications adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). COPE guidelines are followed in cases of conflicts of interest, data reliability, authorship disputes, and plagiarism.

5. Open Access and Author Rights

All articles are published under an open access model. Authors retain their copyright; articles are shared under a CC BY or CC BY-NC license. This model increases accessibility and citation potential.

6. Discoverability and Interoperability

All articles are assigned a permanent DOI. Metadata is prepared in XML format according to the NISO JATS standard to ensure indexability in international databases.

7. Transparency in Publication Fees

Holistence Publications applies different models:

  • APC (Article Processing Charge): Applies only to accepted articles.
  • Submission Fee: Charged for preliminary review costs and is non-refundable.
  • Free Publication: No fees are charged for some of our journals.

The presence or absence of fees does not influence editorial decisions. Detailed fee policies are published on each journal's page.

8. Digital Preservation and Archiving

Content is preserved using third-party services such as LOCKSS and CLOCKSS, ensuring long-term accessibility.

9. Post-Publication Integrity

Correction, retraction, or expression of concern policies are applied as necessary in accordance with COPE standards. All changes are processed transparently and remain accessible.

10. Accountability and Communication

Authors, reviewers, and readers can submit all questions and complaints to the publisher or editors. All submissions are evaluated transparently and respectfully.
