For Authors
1. Submission Policy: Two-File Requirement (Blinding Protocol)
To ensure a rigorous double-blind peer review process, authors are strictly required to submit TWO separate files during the initial submission phase:
This file must contain the complete text along with full author profiles, including all author names, affiliations, professional titles, institutional e-mails, and ORCID tracking IDs. Vested interest details such as specific grant IDs under the Funding section or precise names of institutions within the Ethical Approval clause must remain fully visible.
This file must be completely anonymized. All author names, institutional affiliations, contact emails, and ORCID IDs must be entirely removed and replaced with [REDACTED FOR PEER REVIEW]. Any direct indicators within the text body, headers, or footers that could reveal the identity or institution of the authors must be thoroughly blinded. Under the Statements & Declarations section, specific grant agencies, funding tracking numbers, and the explicit names of university ethical review boards must be anonymized (e.g., "[Institutional Review Board of Redacted University]").
2. General Page Layout & Typography
- Paper Size: Standard A4 (210 x 297 mm), portrait orientation.
- Margins: Normal layout, exactly 2.54 cm (1 inch) on all sides (Top, Bottom, Left, Right).
- Universal Font Family: Times New Roman must be used exclusively throughout the entire manuscript (including headers, tables, figures, footnotes, and references).
- Line Spacing & Alignment: 1.15 line spacing with Justified alignment for all body text paragraphs.
- Paragraph Spacing: Configure paragraph formatting to 0 Pt Before and 6 Pt After. Do not use manual double returns (blank lines) between paragraphs.
3. Title Page & Controlled Editorial Layout
The first page utilizes an advanced, asymmetric structural column grid designed to separate article metadata from the core scientific summary:
- Manuscript Title: 16 Pt, Bold, Capital Letters, Centered, Navy Blue (#1B365D). (Author Entry)
- Running Header, Volume/Issue, Page Margins, and DOIs: Marked explicitly with red tracking tags as [EDITORIAL OFFICE ONLY]. Authors must leave these fields completely untouched.
- The Metadata Column (Left - 1.5 Inches Wide): Written in 7.5 Pt font size with 8.5 Pt bold Navy headers. It contains:
- How to Cite This Article: Locked for [EDITORIAL OFFICE ONLY].
- Copyright & License: Standard open-access notice tracking the mandatory [ CC BY 4.0 Open Access Icon ] blueprint.
- The Abstract Column (Right - 4.7 Inches Wide):
- ABSTRACT Header: 11 Pt, Bold, Navy Blue, left-aligned.
- Abstract Body Text: Exactly 10 Pt Regular font size (1.0 single line spacing). Must be a single structured paragraph between 150 and 250 words. No citations or unverified acronyms are permitted. (Author Entry)
- Keywords: 9.5 Pt font size, containing 3 to 5 clear terms separated by commas. (Author Entry)
4. Headings Hierarchy & Multi-Level Numbering
The journal enforces a Decimal Numbering System to ensure rigid logical tracking. All headings must be left-aligned and configured as follows:
5. Standartized Lists & Bullet Points
To prevent manuscripts from looking fragmented, lists must be tightly integrated into the text flow using 12 Pt Times New Roman, but with a more compact vertical distribution:
- Paragraph Layout: Left Indent = 0.5 inch (1.27 cm), Hanging = -0.25 inch (-0.63 cm).
- List Spacing: 0 Pt Before and 3 Pt After (This keeps bulleted or numbered sequences tightly grouped together).
- Unordered Lists: Use the standard black solid circle (•) bullet symbol followed by a default tab indent.
- Ordered Lists: Use standard numeric characters (1., 2., 3.) for chronological or step-dependent phases. Sub-lists must use lowercase alphabetic sorting (a., b., c.).
6. Tables & Figures Formatting Standards
Data visualization models must be self-contained "islands of information" following the strict APA 7th Edition rules:
A. Tables
- Table Caption: Positioned above the table grid. The table number (e.g., Table 1.) must be 11 Pt, Bold, Regular. The specific descriptive title must be on the immediate line below in 10 Pt, Italic.
- Table Grid Styling: Clean APA style. Only horizontal lines are permitted (Top border, header bottom border, and table bottom border). Vertical gridlines are strictly banned. Text inside cells must be 10 Pt.
B. Figures / Graphics
- Figure Caption: Positioned above the visual placeholder grid. Figure tracking tag (e.g., Figure 1.) must be 11 Pt, Bold, Regular.
- Visual Requirements: Insert sharp vector files or high-definition grids. Authors must use the hardcoded template frame box which defines a standard minimum resolution of 300 DPI in TIFF, JPEG, or EPS containers.
C. Explanatory Notes — EXACTLY 9 Pt
Both tables and figures must present their technical footnotes, p-values, abbreviations, or source validations directly underneath using a highly specialized, compact layout:
- Typography: Exactly 9 Pt font size, single line spacing, fully justified.
- Formatting Layout: The introductory label must be formatted as Note. (Bold & Italic), followed immediately by the text (e.g., Note. All data are normalized... p < .05).
7. Statements & Declarations
Positioned immediately before the References section, authors must declare full transparency across four distinct streams (10 Pt font size):
- Funding: Detail all grant IDs, corporate projects, or institutional support arrays. (If none: "The authors received no financial support for the research, authorship, and/or publication of this article.") [MUST BE FULLY BLINDED IN THE REVIEW FILE].
- Conflict of Interest: Disclose any commercial or personal biases. (Standard: "The authors declare that they have no competing financial interests or personal relationships that could have appeared to influence the work reported in this paper.")
- Ethical Approval: Mandatory for empirical data. Specify the institution name, board review clearance date, and official protocol/decision tracking numbers. [MUST BE INSTITUTIONALLY BLINDED IN THE REVIEW FILE].
- Declaration of Generative AI and AI-Assisted Technologies: Authors must explicitly select and complete the template's AI block: "The authors declare that generative AI or AI-assisted technologies [were used / were not used] in the preparation and writing process of this manuscript..." (Must be visible in both submitted files).
8. Citations & References
References must be completely indexed using the APA 7th Edition style sheet:
- Font Layout: 10 Pt font size, 1.15 line spacing, sorted alphabetically by the first author's surname.
- Hanging Indent: Crucial for indexers. Paragraph styling must enforce a left indent of 0.5 inch (1.27 cm) paired with a negative first line indent of -0.5 inch (-1.27 cm).
- DOIs: Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) must be provided for all eligible reference pathways formatted as complete URLs (e.g., https://doi.org/10.XXXXX/hr.2026.xxxx).
