Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools

Authors may use artificial intelligence-assisted tools for language editing, grammar correction, formatting support, data visualization support or preliminary coding assistance, provided that such use is transparent and does not replace the authors’ intellectual contribution.

AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authorship is limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the work and who can take responsibility for the content of the manuscript.

Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, references, data, analysis and conclusions of their manuscript.

Any use of AI-assisted tools must be declared in the Title Page under the heading:

Declaration on the Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools

Suggested statement:

AI-assisted tools were used during the preparation of this manuscript for language editing, grammar correction and formatting support. The authors reviewed, verified and take full responsibility for all content, analysis, references and conclusions presented in the manuscript. No AI tool is listed as an author.

If no AI tool was used, authors may state:

The authors declare that no AI-assisted tools were used in the preparation of this manuscript.
