About the Journal

Holistence Review is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Holistence Publications. The journal provides a scholarly platform for interdisciplinary research on the relationships between human services, social systems, social development, public policy and social wellbeing.

The journal is designed around the idea that wellbeing is not only an individual outcome, but also a result of organized services, institutional arrangements, public policies, social support mechanisms and governance structures. It therefore focuses on how human service systems, social policies, institutional frameworks, community-based services and digital transformations shape social progress, inclusion, quality of life and wellbeing.

The official title of the journal is Holistence Review. Its academic subtitle is Human Services, Social Systems and Wellbeing, and its core focus is expressed through the concepts Organization • Policy • Wellbeing.

The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, methodological papers, policy analyses, comparative studies and perspective articles. Despite the word “Review” in its title, Holistence Review is not limited to review articles.

The journal does not charge any submission fee, article processing charge, acceptance fee, publication fee, page fee, colour fee or archiving fee. Copyright remains with the authors, and all articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
