Dear Authorized Representative,
I am submitting my resume in connection with my article titled “Women's Access to Political Rights in Turkey: A Historical Study Based on the Example of Fatma Şakir Memik.”
I began my studies in 2006 and graduated from İzmir Atatürk High School, where I began to take an interest in human rights law and gender inequality issues.

During my years as a student at the Faculty of Law at Dokuz Eylül University, where I completed my undergraduate education, I continued to be closely involved with human rights law and, in this context,
continued to serve in management positions in school clubs.
After completing my legal internship in 2015, I began practicing as a freelance lawyer affiliated with the İzmir Bar Association. During this period, I volunteered as a lawyer in many social issues
and conducted legal work to prevent and punish human rights violations,
which I continue to do today.
In 2018, to support these efforts academically, I passed the entrance exam for the Master's Program in Human Rights Law at Dokuz Eylül University and enrolled in the program. During my master's studies, I participated in various academic projects, some of which are outlined in my resume.
I completed my studies with a GPA of 4.00 and graduated first in my class. I completed my studies with a 4.00 GPA and graduated first in my class, concluding my education with a thesis on women's rights. My thesis defense was deemed successful by all members of the jury.

Between 2015 and 2020, as a group of female lawyers, we organized workshops in many cities on the topics of violence against women and legal recourse mechanisms, entitled “We Are Not Alone in Times of Violence.” I served as the founder and coordinator of these workshops.
My book titled “Sexual Crimes and the Relationship of Consent in the Context of Gender” was published by Seçkin Kitabevi in 2023.

Since 2023, I have been working as the Director of the Human Rights Law and Legal Research Center at the İzmir Bar Association.

In 2025, I was admitted to the Dokuz Eylül University Women and Family Studies Doctorate Program with the highest score. My coursework is ongoing.
