By this nature, especially the formation of the Other** within the artistic context of the globalized world calls for the careful consideration of questions and judgments directed towards globalization. In this regard, the aim of this study is defined as exhibiting the ongoing political approaches towards the global systems of art and thereby discussing the geographical and identity-oriented tendencies of this predominant political attitude that is seen as internationalization. The extent of the matter on the Other in this study has been restricted to displaying the relationship between globalization and the systems of art and how the increasingly prevalent practices are shaped. As a result of all these studies, it is found that the notion of the Other is a reflection of a hierarchical relationship and this reflection, along with the geographical and cultural implications of this matter, justifies the argument.
2021-02-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Rating Academy Ar-Ge Yazılım Yayıncılık Eğitim Danışmanlık ve Organizasyon Ticaret Ltd. In Turkish playwriting, it is seen that playwrights have common ideals about individual and society in every period. These ideals are often influenced by political and social environment. The aim of this study is to analyze the ideal individual and social structures drawn by post-2000 playwriting through common themes. In this paper, qualitative research method will be used. The visual and tactile qualities of the materials guide the selection of the subject, individual and period styles as well as the aesthetic perception. Physical properties have enabled the development of tools and technologies by artists who transform materials into depictions and representations. While the values of the materials make them political actors as they embody power and grandeur, their lack of value has turned them into symbols of sobriety in theological debates. Therefore, it can be said that materials have a decisive role in the meaning of the work in the art of sculpture. In this context, it is clearly seen that when a material is selected / used, it is actually a form of communication and therefore corresponds to a series of transferences related to language, based on the idea that conscious or unconscious processes work behind the orientation of sculptors to a particular material. According to this; sculptors not only do something by carving stone and wood or forging iron, but also say something by choosing a certain type of material.
2021-02-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Rating Academy Ar-Ge Yazılım Yayıncılık Eğitim Danışmanlık ve Organizasyon Ticaret Ltd.
